Dodzi’s impact spans far and wide. As an incredible father and stepfather, he embodies the values of patience, kindness, respect, diligence, and amazement. His journey began in 2010 when he arrived in Australia as a refugee from Ghana, Africa. Since then, he has not only built a loving family but has become a true community leader.
A beacon of support for refugees, Dodzi has organized numerous cultural events that bridge the gap between communities. As a Refugee Case Manager, he extends his caring nature to the elderly and ill, selflessly lending a hand with tasks big and small.
Dodzi’s journey as a father is nothing short of inspirational. Over the past decade, he has been a loving stepfather, helping raise a son who is now 16, and later marrying to welcome a son of his own into the world. In the face of adversity, he stepped up when his father’s passing left him and his wife to become guardians for his youngest sister.
Despite personal challenges and the lack of support from his own family, Dodzi’s commitment to his children’s well-being knows no bounds. His dedication is evident in his role as a coach for his son’s local soccer team, where he imparts the discipline, skills, and teamwork that will serve them throughout life.
